Beauty and serenity describe Posadi Gumpe the best. This underrated tourist spot is ideal for a one-day picnic with family and friends to unwind and enjoy nature in its true form. The hilltop, 1060 feet above sea level, is located 8 kilometres east of Manjeshwaram. The highlight here is the three hills that look similar as they come together to form the hills of Posadi Gumpe. A cave of significant historical importance is located between the hills. The uphill climb is rewarded with scenic views and fresh air.
The charming green lawns at the top of the hills are worth the climb and instil a sense of calmness. The hill also provides a serene view of Kudremukh, neighbouring areas of Mangalore and the Arabian Sea. The best time to visit this place is between September and January. Ensure that you carry enough water, food and other necessary trekking equipment. The trekking is only moderately difficult and can be covered by most people.
